AEGEE-Europe

2005 - Shooting Europe! - The AEGEE Movie Festival

The key motivation for organising the AEGEE-movie festival was the wish for a novel approach of not only promoting the idea of an integrated Europe among young people but also involving them in a process of active discussion. Since movies are a very influential instrument of communication, making them in advance and making use of them should be an attractive way of dealing with the issues of human rights, intercultural dialogue and contributions of AEGEE to the European integration. Therefore, this event combines art and creativity with thematic work on common social issues and cultural diversity.
