The Agora, AEGEE General Assembly, meets twice a year. Up to 600 AEGEE members gather for three days to discuss proposals and projects, take decisions and set up the guidelines for AEGEE.
Conferences are amongst the most popular AEGEE activities; they are organised all over Europe focusing on different topics and target groups. Participating in them, AEGEE members and invited guests have the opporrtunity to exchange their opinions and ideas concerning various subjects.
The Internal Education Activities are dedicated to transfer skills and experience to the next generations of AEGEE. It will help you to understand with your heart and brain the nature of AEGEE and the nature of European integration and co-operation. For one weekend till one week you are living on the fast lane: in an interesting mixture of lectures, workshops, role plays, parties and excursions, you will face team mates with other cultural backgrounds, tackle the challenging tasks together with them, face and solve the usual small conflicts and misunderstandings and, by that, you will gain new friends like almost nowhere else.
Overwhelming AEGEE spirit can be noticed during all of the AEGEE meetings and not only! The unique feature of AEGEE is its diversity and multicultural environment. We know how to have fun but we are also aware that there are moments we have to be serious and then we can achieve a lot!
The Planning Meeting is the association's think tank. It serves to set up AEGEE's thematic orientation. It takes place twice a year: in March as 'Think Europe!' meeting and in September as 'Action Europe!' meeting.
Projects are the frameworks for majority of AEGEE activities. Multi-national teams focus on the topics being of high interest for AEGEE members and try to gather and generate the results of the discussions taking place during seminars, conferences and other events.
A SU is one of the most representative activities of AEGEE: it is usually a two-week event organized by an AEGEE local. Between 20 and 60 students come together from all over Europe to learn a foreign language, get familiar with Finnish culture, Spanish history, Greek mythology, or learn how to sail, learn how to dance in an international environment.
